IGS CNG Services Opens CNG Fueling Station in Partnership with Montgomery County in Moraine, Ohio
IGS CNG Services announced the opening of its compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station in partnership with Montgomery County in Moraine, Ohio, just outside of Dayton.
DUBLIN, OH – IGS CNG Services announced the opening of its compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station in partnership with Montgomery County in Moraine, Ohio, just outside of Dayton. The station is located at the Montgomery County Environmental Services facility at 2750 Cardington Road in Moraine, and is accessible by both fleets and the public.
The station, which features its own canopy, has three lanes with six pumps to provide convenient CNG fueling. The station is designed to serve refuse trucks from Montgomery County and surrounding Ohio municipalities as well as a growing number of regional fleets being converted to natural gas vehicles (NGVs).
“The Montgomery County Commissioners are thrilled to have the new CNG fueling station up and running, which will help power our fleet with cleaner fuel, and provide high-quality CNG services to other businesses in the region,” said Montgomery County Commission President Judy Dodge.
Scott White, president and CEO of IGS Energy, parent company of IGS CNG Services, said, “This partnership with the Montgomery County Environmental Services Department allows us to continue our development of a regional CNG fueling corridor and expand our fueling network along I-75.”
The Moraine location is the 12th in the IGS CNG Services family of stations that service the public. Of the 12 stations, IGS CNG Services has seven active stations in Ohio, three in West Virginia, and one in Indiana. The Ohio CNG stations are located in Dayton, Dublin (owned by the City of Dublin), Findlay, Marengo, Obetz, Orrville, and Girard. The West Virginia CNG stations are located in Charleston, Bridgeport, and Jane Lew. The Indiana station is located in South Bend.
