The City of Dayton is taking a significant step in reducing its negative impact on climate change by sourcing energy from renewable resources for several of its facilities. This commitment to renewable energy delivers on Dayton's long-standing promise to practice and promote environmental stewardship.

IGS Energy announced that it has acquired DPL Energy Resources, a subsidiary of DPL Inc. and retail affiliate supplier of the utility, The Dayton Power & Light Company, headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. The transaction became effective January 1, 2016.

IGS Generation, a sister company of IGS Energy, and Hull Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hull & Associates, Inc., recently began installation of a Combined Heat and Power (CHP) system at the Dublin Community Recreation Center in Dublin, Ohio.

IGS Energy announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Border Energy, a retail supplier of natural gas and electricity headquartered in Powell, Ohio.
