Work in one of the most exciting industries on the planet.
On Thursday, October 25, IGS volunteers will visit Pittsburgh Allegheny Elementary School in Pittsburgh to put on a coat donation event for hundreds of kids in need. The event will pair volunteers with young students to help them try on, and go home with, a brand-new, warm winter coat. The gift of a new coat not only keeps a child warm, but provides a boost in self-esteem and the confidence to get to school on cold days.
IGS Energy partnered with the Chicago Bears and Chicago Gateway Green for the Save Da Planet sustainability event that took place at Southside Occupational Academy High School.
Operation Warm, a non-profit organization that provides brand-new winter coats to children in need, has partnered with IGS Energy to donate 10,000 coats to the children across the country.
IGS has donated a refrigerated truck that will be used to bring more free and discounted food to people who are homeless and receiving help at Van Buren Center in west Columbus.
