Lime, a bike transportation company, has launched a pilot program in Dublin, Ohio where they have stationed their bikes for commuters to use for free to bike to local locations, as opposed to driving. IGS Energy’s headquarters is one of the locations where the bicycles are stationed.
Operation Warm, a non-profit organization that provides brand-new winter coats to children in need, has partnered with IGS Energy to donate 10,000 coats to the children across the country.
IGS has donated a refrigerated truck that will be used to bring more free and discounted food to people who are homeless and receiving help at Van Buren Center in west Columbus.
IGS will support the partnership financially with a grant of $270,000 and additionally with in-kind contributions of supplies, materials and volunteer involvement.
