IGS Recognized as a 2018 Columbus Business First Best Place to Work
DUBLIN, OH—IGS is proud to announce that it has been ranked as number one in the “Best Places To Work-Extra Large (250 central Ohio companies)” by Columbus Business First. This is the second year in a row that IGS has received this award, as well as the first-place ranking in the “Extra-large” category.
Best Places to Work honors those companies that have created an environment where all voices are heard, the workplace culture is an essential and continual focus, and a place where employees feel valued and connected to their company’s mission and purpose.
Over 200 companies completed the survey for this award back in August 2018. From those, 46 honorees were selected to be recognized during the awards event and IGS is honored to be ranked amongst some of the largest in central Ohio. Companies earn placement in this ranking through employee ratings of their workplace culture, their trust of leadership and the pride and camaraderie they experience with co-workers.
Specifically, IGS employees noted in their survey that benefits such as annual performance bonuses, wellness programs, employee-driven groups focused on company culture, competitive life insurance and 401(k) plans, employee assistance programs and much more make IGS truly a great place to work.
“We are honored to receive this recognition,” says Jenni Kovach, chief people officer, IGS. “Our entire leadership team works to create an environment of accountability, as well as a culture of open and honest communication. We encourage every employee, at every level, to be engaged and to share any and all ideas.”
